My test taking strategies

                                                            My test taking strategies

In general, testing is finding out how well something works. In terms of human beings, testing tells what level of knowledge or skill has been acquired. In computer hardware and software development, testing is used at key checkpoints in the overall process to determine whether objectives are being met. Every people has own test taking strategies. From my personal experience, I've learned that test-taking can be easier with a few simple tips. First, always study in a quiet environment that is well lit. Studying should begin at least ten days in advance. Give yourself manageable sections to study each day. This way, it will not be overwhelming. Know ahead of time exactly what to study for. The professors often give ideas as to what the test will be like. Take advantage of this. Quiz yourself on the material you studied, without using your books or notes. Doing this will give you an idea of how you will do on the test. Allow yourself a fifteen to twenty minute break for every hour of studying. During this time relax with a walk or a conversation with a friend. Before the exam, eat properly and have plenty of rest. Following these tips will help you when it comes to test time. Here are my test taking strategies:
1. Be prepared
2. Always arrive early and take a moment to relax
3.Listen attentively to last minute instructions given by the instructor
4.Do a memory dump
5.Consider every test a practice session - analyze your performance
6.Plan to finish early and have time for review
7.Rely on your first impressions
8.Maintain a positive attitude
9.Answer all the questions
10.Look for cues
11.Plan how you will use the allotted time
12.Read the test directions very carefully and watch for details
